    How to find us

The Isle of Bute is the most accessible of Scotland's beautiful west coast islands, less than 90 minutes from Glasgow. Visitors from Edinburgh and the east coast can reach the island in less than 3 hours.

A car ferry sails to the Island every 45 minutes from Wemyss Bay. The ferry journey itself taking only 35 minutes.

The Island can also be accessed via a spectacular scenic route through Argyll to the Colintraive ferry terminal. A short 5 minute ferry crossing takes you to Rhubodach on the north end of Bute.
