'Skye on Bute' - The Dinner
The Master Chef for our event, Skye Gyngell, will lead a team of celebrity chefs to create a fabulous dinner, using quality produce that has been sourced locally and ethically. The dinner will be hosted by the Chairman of the Mount Stuart Trust, Johnny Bute, in the stunning Marble Hall of Mount Stuart. It will mark the official opening of eatBute08 for guests including farmers, producers, suppliers, partners and sponsors. We will also hear from guest speakers including Janet Street-Porter and Hugh Raven of the Soil Association. The lavish dinner will showcase the quality of produce available from the local and surrounding areas, as well as presenting an excellent networking opportunity for everybody involved.
During the evening celebrations, local entertainers will treat the audience to a wealth of talent. A traditional Scottish theme will run through the evening's festivities. The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama will also be involved, and guests will be entertained with some amusing food-themed performances during their delicious dinner.
