


Mount Stuart Kitchen Garden is in the throes of a development programme, which will see an increase in the range and quantity of fruit, vegetable and other food products available from Mount Stuart, throughout the year. There is an abundance of produce on offer throughout the year, from potatoes, courgettes and carrots, to freshly picked berries and free range eggs. A new addition to our gardens are our bee hives, which should soon be producing Bute Honey.
Taste of Bute is your opportunity to share in this stunning location where cows and sheep roam extensively on grass meadows and species-rich hills and glens. Fresh beef and lamb is supplied directly from The Plan Farm along with speciality sausages and burgers. The Isle of Bute Smokery is an extension of the concept of delivering delicately delicious food that has been produced on the island. Smoked beef, lamb, veal and cheese are the start of a range of ready-to-eat foods being produced at The Plan Farm and marketed under the Taste of Bute banner by Brian and Janet Hill .
Drumachloy Farm Rosé Veal is reared by Duncan and Fiona Lyon on their dairy farm on the Isle of Bute. Scottish Rose Veal offer a full mail order service across the UK through their on-line shop. They are a very small, family run business that takes great pride in all they do. Just Seaweed, Isle of Bute
From the Beautiful Isle Of Bute on the west coast of Scotland, Just Seaweed hand cut fresh edible seaweed. On the north west shore of Bute, there are clear, clean, unspoilt waters where they harvest sea kelp, sugar kelp, kombu, wakeme, channel wrack, spiral, dulse, nori, sea lettuce, purple laver, carrageen, Irish moss, lady weed, rock weed, Japanese wire weed and sea string. They also cut Bladder and serrated wrack seaweed which is used for skin care, spa detox and cellulite body wraps. All seaweeds are available fresh cut or sun dried.
